Avoid touching routers or cables. Simply report the problem under Office Devices & Network with your room name and time of outage. IT will check SonicWall, switches, or ISP connections remotely to restore service.

For computer or printer issues, restart once, confirm power and cable connections, and note any error messages. Include those details when creating a ticket — this helps IT fix issues faster. For PACS access, make sure your VPN is connected if working remotely and always log out after viewing patient images.

Phones, cameras, and scanners also depend on network connectivity. If your desk phone shows “No Network,” or your camera feed is blank, report it under the same category. Avoid unplugging devices yourself. IT will handle troubleshooting or replacements as needed.
